Sub-Working Groups

Our Sub-Working Groups focus on addressing the urgent and complex needs of people experiencing homelessness and precarious health or housing. We're bringing together local partners, service providers, and individuals with lived experience to identify gaps, develop solutions, and guide meaningful system change. Their work supports the broader goals of the Planning Table.

Together, we are building more integrated systems of care that honour the dignity of each individual and promote long-term wellbeing.

Provision of Basic Needs for People Experiencing Homelessness

Established in July 2024, the Provision of Basic Needs for People Experiencing Homelessness Sub-Working Group focuses on meeting the urgent needs of people experiencing unsheltered homelessness.

Guided by the Health and Housing Symposiums and the Lived Experience Advisory Group, the group concentrates on three main areas:

  • Coordinated outreach
  • Engagement with those experiencing unsheltered homelessness
  • Daytime programming space

Our goal is to provide timely, compassionate support that meets people where they are.
